Hi Chinonye! Please tell us a bit about yourself and what inspired you to start learning with Univad.
My name is Chinonye Esther Arubaluezeama. I’m a Nigerian, a teacher, a natural hair enthusiast, and a hair care educator. I also run an online business where I teach people how to care for their natural hair.
What inspired me to start my learning journey with Univad was the need for growth. I wanted to expand my knowledge in business, finance, and personal development. I had reached a point where I knew that for my business and career to move forward, I needed structured learning and a strong foundation in these areas. Univad gave me that opportunity.
How would you describe your learning experience so far, including the classes, lecturers, and the virtual campus?
My experience has been nothing short of amazing. The courses are easy to understand, and the lecturers communicate in a very clear and relatable way. I love how the lessons are structured; they don’t feel overwhelming. You can learn at your own pace, revisit topics anytime, and actually enjoy the process.
It’s also very practical. The examples used in class are things I can relate to as a small business owner, so I’m not just learning theories, I’m applying them directly to my business.
What are some of the most valuable skills you’ve gained since joining Univad?
One of the biggest skills I’ve gained is learning how to create a brand positioning statement. Before Univad, I used to post random things about my brand without a clear sense of direction. Now, I can confidently create content that truly represents what my brand stands for.
I also learned how to identify when a post is off-brand and how to align my content with community guidelines, especially on platforms like Facebook. These lessons have completely changed how I manage my online presence.
In what ways has studying at Univad influenced your goals or vision for the future?
It has given me direction and confidence. I’m now more intentional about the goals I set for myself. Univad has helped me understand that success starts with being informed, having the right knowledge, and applying it consistently.
I no longer see my dreams as far-fetched. I know that with the right skills and mindset, they are achievable.
What do you love most about learning on Univad?
The flexibility. I love that I can learn anywhere, anytime, without pressure. The topics are engaging, the learning materials are well-structured, and I can comfortably study at my own pace.
