AI can not generate high quality outputs without human crafting prompts, because prompts has to be set by prompt engineering's to work or generate series of instructions to a generated models before it will give a meaningful output so without the help of prompts AI can not work or generate high quality outputs on its own.

AI might eventually get better at understanding vague or minimal input, but I don’t think the human role will disappear.
Even when prompts aren’t typed, someone’s still shaping the intent, through design, feedback, or context. So it’s less about removing prompt crafting, and more about hiding it under something else.
Prompting won’t die; it’ll just evolve.
